Robert G. Liberatore

Rob serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors at the National Democratic Institute. He is a member of the board of the German Marshall Fund, and chairs the board of the Faith and Politics Institute. Until recently he served on the boards of Fiat Chrysler Automotive and the Fiat Industrial Company. He retired from DaimlerChrysler in 2008 as the Senior Vice President of Global External Affairs and Public Policy where he was responsible for DaimlerChrysler outreach to governments and societies around the world. In recent years he has consulted through his consulting firm, RGL Advisors, with Boston Consulting Group, the CEO of FiatChrysler, and other firms. Before joining Chrysler in 1985 he served as the staff director for the Senate Democratic Policy Committee, chaired by Senate Democratic Leader Robert C. Byrd.
