National Design Mart is locally-owned and founded by the King family. Their father, Dennis, first sold flooring in Akron in the 1960's. Now the second generation – Ryan and Chris – continue to serve longtime and new customers with the same passion.

We’re not a chain. Our home office isn’t in some faraway city. The owners don’t live in some other state. In fact, the owners are probably in the same store where you are shopping… making that daily commitment to customers and community that they learned from their dad.

Mon-Thu: 9 am - 8 pm
Fri-Sat: 9 am - 6 pm
Sun: CLOSED

The Project Management team at National Design Mart coordinates and oversees customer projects from initial consultation to completion. This includes estimating costs, managing timelines, handling billing, and ensuring seamless communication between clients and various departments. They work closely with both commercial and residential clients to deliver high-quality design solutions in flooring, countertops, and cabinets, adhering to the family's legacy of outstanding customer service and community commitment.
