Deepa Edirisooriya

Deepa Edirisooriya is an accomplished professional in the banking and financial technology sectors, currently serving as the Chief Manager of Product Management & Innovation at National Development Bank PLC since October 2017. This role involves managing the full spectrum of banking product development with a strong emphasis on digital solutions. Previously, Deepa held various managerial positions at Nations Trust Bank PLC, enhancing digital service delivery and overseeing product lifecycle management. In addition to extensive banking experience, Deepa contributes to academia as a Visiting Lecturer at the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) and has previously lectured at ESOFT Metro Campus, specializing in management support systems and database technology. Deepa holds an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University and a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Technology from the University of Greenwich.
