Dawn Hooper

Dawn Hooper, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the National Diversity Council since July 2023, following a successful tenure as CFO at the Texas Women's Foundation from December 2016 to July 2023. Dawn has extensive experience in financial leadership roles, previously holding positions such as Senior Director and Director of Accounting at Susan G. Komen from August 2009 to December 2016, where responsibilities included overseeing all transactional functions in compliance with GAAP. Earlier career highlights include serving as CFO and Controller at A3D Technologies, Controller at Truck Stuff USA, Inc., and Senior Auditor at Xerox Corporation. Dawn holds a Master of Accountancy from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee and a BS in Accounting from Tennessee Tech University.
