Jana Alano is a seasoned professional in graphic design and information management, currently serving as OIC-Information Officer IV at the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) in the Philippines since July 2021. NEDA is a leading institution in socioeconomic planning and policy analysis. Prior to this role, Jana held various positions at DCBJ Studio from March 2020, including Multimedia Artist and Graphic Designer, and worked as a Graphic Designer at XScribe Solutions Inc. from January 2018 to July 2021. Additional experience includes a design internship at TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno and a multimedia artist internship at the Center for Campus Art at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. The NEDA is the Philippines' social and economic development planning and policy coordinating body. The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), as mandated by the Philippine Constitution, is the country’s independent economic development and planning agency. It is headed by the President as chairman of the NEDA board, with the Secretary of Socio-Economic Planning, concurrently NEDA Director-General, as vice-chairman. Several Cabinet members, the Central Bank Governor, the Administrative Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) and the Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP) are likewise members of the NEDA Board.
