Martin Georgiev

Martin Georgiev is an experienced executive in the energy sector, currently serving as the Executive Director of the National Electricity Company EAD since May 2022. Previously, Martin held the position of Head of Market Bulgaria at Alpiq Energy SE and served as Chairman of the Association of Electricity Traders in Bulgaria from April 2013 to May 2022. Additionally, Martin was the Programme Director at Uconomics OOD from 2005 to 2007. Martin's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Technical University Sofia and an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from the American University in Bulgaria.
