Panita Pongpaibool is a seasoned professional in the fields of electrical and computer engineering and sustainable manufacturing. Currently serving as Director at the Sustainable Manufacturing Center since January 2021, Panita also holds the position of Deputy Executive Director and Senior Researcher at the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) since 2004. Additionally, Panita contributed as a Guest Lecturer at Mahidol University from 2008 to 2011 in the Faculty of ICT. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Human Computer Communication Research Unit (HCCRU) conducts research and development on technologies related to human-computer interaction, including natural language and speech processing, image and video signal processing, as well as technologies for social text analysis. These technologies are expected to become an important infrastructure for today and future services.
