Simon Lewis Mbe

Simon Lewis MBE is a seasoned professional in emergency management and crisis response, currently serving as the Head of Resilience at the National Emergencies Trust since February 2023. Prior to this role, Simon held leadership positions at the British Red Cross from August 2010 to February 2023, including Head of Crisis Response Improvement and Head of Crisis Response. Simon's career in public service began with the Metropolitan Police, where Simon joined in February 1979 and advanced to Chief Superintendent, notably overseeing Emergency Preparedness at New Scotland Yard. Simon holds an MBA from the University of Hertfordshire, completed between 2001 and 2004.
