Paola Gálvez Callirgos

Paola Gálvez Callirgos is an accomplished expert in AI ethics and digital policy, actively contributing to multiple high-profile initiatives. Currently, Paola serves as a Member of the Women4EthicalAI Expert Platform at UNESCO, where efforts are focused on advancing gender-sensitive AI policies. In addition, Paola is a Steering Committee Member for the UN Women AI School, guiding the integration of gender perspectives into AI literacy. Other roles include serving as a Non-resident Fellow for AI Ethics at Globethics and a Senior Expert Consultant at Plurall, implementing tech policies across various regions. Paola's extensive experience also encompasses policy research and advisory roles with the OECD and the Center for AI and Digital Policy, alongside independent consulting in tech policy and AI governance. Paola holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Oxford and a J.D. from Universidad de Lima.
