Zoe Reiter

Director, Kleptocracy at National Endowment for Democracy

Zoe Reiter is currently the Director of Combating Kleptocracy at the National Endowment for Democracy, a position held since January 2024. As a co-founder of the Anti-Corruption Data Collective since July 2019, Zoe has been actively engaged in anti-corruption efforts. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships and Director of Civic Engagement at the Project On Government Oversight from September 2019 to January 2024. Over an eleven-year tenure at Transparency International from May 2008 to July 2019, Zoe served as Acting Representative to the US and Senior Project Leader, focusing on major international anti-corruption initiatives. Earlier roles at the Ford Foundation included Regional Programme Manager and Senior Programme Coordinator from 1996 to 2008. Zoe holds a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology from Columbia University and has degrees in Latin American Studies from Rice University and a Master’s Joint Degree in Community and Regional Planning and Latin American Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
