Asif Iqbal

Asif Iqbal is currently working as the Director of Commercial and Operational Excellence at NESR since 2023. Prior to that, they had a significant work experience at Schlumberger, where they have held various roles such as Country Head of Digital and Integration, Indonesia, Sales and Commercial Manager for Integration, Project Manager for Integrated Operations, General Manager of Supply Chain, and Operations Manager for Wireline Production Services in India and Bangladesh. Asif has also worked as an Operations Manager (Land), Field Service Manager, Special Services Engineer, and Field Engineer. Additionally, in 2007, Asif Iqbal served as the Director of Business Strategy at Aakar Knowledge Solutions Pvt Ltd.

Asif Iqbal studied at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 1999 to 2004. Asif obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering during this time. After completing their undergraduate degree, they pursued further education at the same institution and earned a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2002 to 2004.
