David Luebke

David Luebke currently serves as the Technical Director of the NETL Direct Air Capture Center at the National Energy Technology Laboratory since January 2023. Prior to this role, David was the Chief Operating Officer at AristoSys, LLC, where responsibilities included streamlining processes and offering technical leadership from September 2021 to January 2023. David has extensive experience in the field of carbon capture, having held various positions at the National Energy Technology Laboratory from 2002 to 2014, including Technical Coordinator and Research Group Leader. Notably, David led the commercialization of pretreatment technology as the Chief Executive Officer of LumiShield Technologies from 2014 to 2021, significantly impacting the coatings market. David holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
