Thomas Paronish is a Research Scientist at Battelle since August 2019 and has concurrently served as an ORISE Postgraduate Researcher at the National Energy Technology Laboratory since June 2017. Thomas has extensive experience in maintaining and conducting experiments with the Multi-Sensor Core Logger, processing and preparing various geological data for publication, and performing ICP-MS data analysis. Previous roles include ORISE Intern, Geologic Intern at Antero Resources, Geologist Trainee at CONSOL Energy, and Engineering, Scientific, & Technical Intern at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Thomas holds a Master of Science in Geology/Earth Science from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
