William McCutcheon has a diverse work history with extensive experience in the IT field. William started their career in the United States Marine Corps and later transitioned to various roles in different companies such as Catapult Technology, Ultra Electronics, ProLogic, Platinum Solutions, SRA International, OST, Inc., Leidos, and currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at the National Energy Technology Laboratory. Throughout their career, they have held positions such as IT Director, IT Operations Manager, Quality Manager, and Deputy Program Manager, showcasing their leadership and expertise in IT project management and operations.
William McCutcheon obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 1993. William later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Computer Resources and Information Management from Webster University, graduating in 1999. Additionally, William has obtained several certifications including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management Professional, ITIL v2, and ITIL v3.
