Megan Willig is an experienced environmental education professional currently serving as Program Manager at the National Environmental Education Foundation since September 2021, after previously holding the role of Program Coordinator in the same field. Prior experience includes teaching science courses such as AP Environmental Science and International Baccalaureate Sports, Exercise, and Health Science at Northville Public Schools from June 2017 to August 2021, as well as working as a summer program instructor at Plymouth Canton High School. Early career contributions encompass roles as Head Coach for Girls Cross Country and Physical Therapy Aide, alongside various internships focused on conservation and ecology, including positions at The Nature Conservancy and the Smithsonian Institution. Megan Willig holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Brown University and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Michigan.
