Chris Strebig has extensive experience in project management and public affairs within the environmental sector. Currently serving as Spirit Lake project support at National Experienced Workforce Solutions since June 2022, Chris previously held the role of Spirit Lake Project Manager at Gifford Pinchot National Forest from January 2016 to April 2022. Prior to that, Chris worked as a Media Officer for the US Forest Service from October 2012 to December 2015 and briefly served as the Acting Director of Strategic Communications for the Intermountain Region in early 2015. Chris's career began as a Public Affairs Specialist at the Bureau of Land Management in Oregon/Washington from January 1991 to May 2006 and included a position as Public Affairs Officer at Gifford Pinchot National Forest from May 2006 to June 2012. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oregon, earned between 1983 and 1988.
