Sandy Skrien is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in wilderness management, conservation, and volunteer coordination. Currently serving as the Forest Service ACES Program Manager at National Experienced Workforce Solutions, Sandy recruits applicants for the Agriculture Conservation Experienced Services program, collaborating with the Forest Service to fulfill essential roles. Prior to this, Sandy held various positions within the U.S. Forest Service, including National Wilderness Program Manager, overseeing policy implementation for designated wilderness areas, and managing diverse programs in recreation and public affairs. In addition to roles in federal service, Sandy actively contributes as Board Chair for the Northwoods Volunteer Connection, focusing on volunteer recruitment and training for projects in the Superior National Forest. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Biology from St. Cloud State University and a certificate in Lay Ministry from Luther Seminary.
