Woody Smeck has extensive experience in park management and landscape architecture, currently serving as a Project Manager with National Experienced Workforce Solutions since June 2022. In this role, Woody focuses on management strategies, land use planning, and project management for national parks in the Pacific West Region. Woody's prior experience includes a distinguished 30-year career with the National Park Service, culminating in the position of Deputy Regional Director for the Pacific West Region. Notable roles include Superintendent of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, acting Superintendent for Grand Canyon and Yosemite National Parks during critical transitions, and Deputy Superintendent of Yosemite National Park, overseeing a broad array of operations and planning. Woody holds a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, both from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
