Ben West has extensive experience in the fire service, currently serving as Battalion Chief at Gallatin Fire Department since March 2005 and as Advocate and Deputy Advocate Manager at the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation since September 2013. Ben holds an Associate's degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Volunteer State Community College, demonstrating a strong foundation in fire safety and emergency response.

National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF)
The United States Congress created the NFFF to lead a nationwide effort to remember America's fallen firefighters. Since 1992, the non-profit foundation has developed and expanded programs to honor fallen fire heroes and assist their families and coworkers.The NFFF also works closely with the fire service and life safety organizations to help prevent and reduce line-of-duty deaths and injuries.
