Currently serving as a Field Sales Representative for the National Federation of Independent Business since May 2016, James has prior experience as a Registered Representative at The Frieden Agency and as a Loan Officer at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. From 1988 to 2003, James held various roles, including Business Banker, Branch Manager, and Vice President, where responsibilities focused on providing loans to small businesses. James's military experience includes serving as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps from 1983 to 1989, overseeing the training and management of up to two hundred Marines. James holds a BS in Economics from the Virginia Military Institute, earned between 1979 and 1983.
