Ron Ritchey

Ron Ritchey is the Great Lakes Field Service Coordinator at the National Fire Sprinkler Association, a position held since April 2016. Previously served as the Assistant Chief of Fire Prevention for the Lafayette Fire Department from December 1999 to April 2016, overseeing fire and building code enforcement for approximately 4,000 commercial buildings, managing fire protection systems, conducting fire and explosion investigations, and leading public education outreach programs. Ron Ritchey has developed training programs on building and fire code topics and participated in state-level code adoption processes. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and an Associate of Applied Science in Public Safety from Ivy Tech State College.
