Terin Hopkins has extensive experience in fire protection and emergency response, currently serving as the Manager of Public Fire Protection at the National Fire Sprinkler Association since March 2018. Previously, Terin has held significant roles including Fire Inspector at the Howard County Department of Fire & Rescue Services from November 2010 to March 2018, and various positions at the Prince George's County Fire Department from 1985 to 2010, including Retired Firefighter Lieutenant - Paramedic and Adjunct Fire Academy Instructor. Additional experience includes serving as a Tactical Paramedic for high-risk law enforcement operations with the Prince George’s County Maryland Sheriff Department and as a Forensic Investigator with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner Maryland. Terin's education includes multiple degrees from the University of Maryland and accreditation in various fire service disciplines.
