Brian Wade Jamandre

Brian Wade Jamandre is a Staff Scientist at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation since November 2021 and has been the Business Owner of Uncle Giant since April 2016. Previously, Brian served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Universite de Liege from October 2013 to October 2015, leading projects on the behavioral ecology, learning, and cognition of common carps while collaborating on various fish-related ecological studies. In 2011, Brian was a Visiting Researcher at Griffith University, focusing on the landscape genetics of river fish in Northern Australia. Brian holds a Ph.D. in Fisheries Science from National Taiwan University (2005-2010) and a B.S. in Fisheries from Central Luzón State University (2001-2005).
