Lynn Dwyer has extensive work experience in the field of environmental conservation and management. Lynn started their career in 1994 as a Research Associate at the Center for Conservation Biology, Stanford University, where they focused on policy articles and legislative proposals related to conservation biology. From 1995 to 1999, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Sustainable Conservation, where they developed a permitting program to engage farmers in restoration and water quality projects, securing funding and technical assistance for the initiative. In 1999, they joined the Environmental Defense Fund as the California Private Lands Coordinator, where they focused on habitat restoration projects and prepared legal and regulatory documentation for compliance with state and federal mandates. In 2001, they worked briefly as a Consultant at the State of California, Resources Agency. Since 2003, Lynn has been with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, where they serve as the Assistant Director of the Northeastern Regional Office. In this role, they manage and develops local, regional, and multistate grant programs and provides comprehensive grants management for a diverse portfolio of partners.
Lynn Dwyer's education history includes a Mini-MBA in Social Media Marketing from Rutgers Business School, which was completed in 2015. Lynn also earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from San Francisco State University between 1992 and 1994. In 2017, Lynn completed two certificate programs at the Shipley Group: one in Applying the NEPA Process and NEPA Reviewing. Additionally, Lynn holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from The George Washington University, although the start and end years of this degree are not provided.
