Vice President CO Lodge 65 at National Fraternal Order of Police

Asa Merriam has extensive work experience in the law enforcement field. They began their career in 2006 as a Deputy Sheriff at the Boulder County Sheriff's Office. After serving in this role for over a decade, Asa transitioned to the position of Detective in 2019. They held this position until February 2022, when they were promoted to the role of Patrol Sergeant. Asa's dedication to the law enforcement community is further demonstrated by their involvement with the National Fraternal Order of Police, where they served as the Vice President of CO Lodge 65 since January 2019.

Asa Merriam obtained a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from Metropolitan State University of Denver, from the years 2003 to 2008. Additionally, in January 2021, Asa Merriam obtained the certification "Security Matters (To Everyone)" from LinkedIn.
