Amilyn Scott

Amilyn Scott, CPA, CIA, possesses extensive experience in financial auditing and accounting, currently serving as Financial Auditor III at National Fuel Gas Company since July 2015, following roles as Senior Accountant and Accountant II. Responsibilities include financial statement preparation, regulatory reporting, and journal entry management for various pension plans. Prior experience includes tax preparation and planning at Freed Maxick CPAs, P.C., and an academic role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University at Buffalo, where Amilyn instructed and supported a large student body. Additionally, an earlier internship at National Fuel Gas Company allowed for hands-on experience in journal entries and financial statement analysis. Amilyn holds a Master’s in Science with a concentration in Tax Accounting and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University at Buffalo.
