Katie Owens

Katie Owens has extensive experience in information technology and management, currently serving as Director at the National Futures Association since October 2008. Duties involve maintaining IT strategies, managing staff, and implementing technological solutions. Previous roles include Associate Director and Manager of Information Systems at the same organization. Additional experience includes serving as Project Manager and Senior Application Developer at the George M. Eisenberg Foundation for Charities, where Katie also holds a position as Director on the Board. Prior roles at Ace Hardware Corporation and Northern Trust contributed to a solid foundation in IT, along with consulting experience at Automated Concepts and CNA Insurance. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Retailing from Northern Illinois University and has completed further education at DePaul University.
