Gareth Hocking

Gareth Hocking currently serves as the Head of Operational Delivery and Head of East Operations at National Gas, a role held since February 2023. Prior to this, Gareth was employed by National Grid from September 2007 to February 2023, where responsibilities included leading a team of over 100 engineers, technicians, and operatives for the operation and maintenance of the National Transmission System as Head of East Operations, and serving as West Area Manager. Additional roles included Business Lead for the Richmond Transformation Project, Engineering Manager for Pipelines and Above Ground Installations, Senior Integrity Engineer, Pipeline Engineer, and Project Delivery Engineer. Gareth holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Exeter, completed in June 2004.
