Alison O'Brien Muff

Alison O'Brien Muff is a seasoned photo editor and media professional with extensive experience in sourcing, managing, and licensing photographic assets across various platforms. Currently serving as a Photo Editor at National Geographic Partners since March 2015, Alison collaborates with editorial, photo, and design teams within the National Geographic Children's Books division. Additional roles include a contract Media Editor at Stride, Inc. and a contract Photo Permissions and Rights Manager for Aparicio Publishing. Previous positions include Photo Researcher at Dinardo Design and Senior Art Buyer Photo Researcher at Pearson, where Alison developed the aesthetic for multiple projects and managed photo production processes. Alison began a career in web publishing at Citysearch, focusing on content development and art asset management. Alison holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts from Chestnut Hill College.
