Jarel Jones

Jarel Jones has extensive experience in cloud systems engineering and administration, currently serving as a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer at the National Geographic Society since November 2011, where responsibilities include administering and maintaining SaaS/IAM services and providing technical support. Previously, Jarel held roles such as Senior Cloud Systems Administrator and ServiceNow Developer at the same organization, along with a Help Desk Specialist position that involved general technical support and system administration. In addition to work at National Geographic Society, Jarel is involved with OverClocked ReMix, LLC as an Events and Merchandise Associate, managing merchandise sales and inventory at conventions. Prior experience includes serving as a Special Police Officer with AlliedBarton Security Services and various managerial roles at Eckerd, focused on staff supervision, inventory management, and sales operations.
