Javier Merino

Javier Merino is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in climate action, digital marketing, and consulting. Currently serving as a National Geographic Society + The Nature Conservancy Remote Extern, Javier has successfully secured funding for a water outage notification app in El Salvador, enhancing water management awareness. Concurrently, Javier holds the position of Climate Action Fellow at Middlebury College, where various climate action projects are managed, including a VR documentary on climate change. Previous roles include consulting for the Middlebury Consulting Group and serving as Co-President of Middlebury Alternative Breaks, managing a budget and overseeing trip leaders. Javier has also engaged with Howard Hughes Medical Institute as an Inclusive Excellence Intern and participated in non-profit consulting with Paragon One. Educational achievements include a current pursuit of a degree at Middlebury College, alongside participation in international programs such as Semester At Sea and study at Li Po Chun United World College.
