Martha Roesler

Martha Roesler currently serves as the Director of Major Gifts at the National Geographic Society since September 2025. Prior to this role, Martha spent over a decade at the Coral Restoration Foundation as Chief Development Officer, developing and executing fundraising strategies to secure sustainable financial resources for conservation efforts. Earlier experience includes various leadership positions within The Nature Conservancy, where Martha managed fundraising teams and significant donor portfolios across multiple regions. Martha began her career in development through various roles at the Indiana University Foundation and gained early experience with DC EcoWomen. Martha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Policy and Environmental Science from Indiana University Bloomington and has received further education at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
