Cameron Peters is currently serving as a Photo Editor at National Geographic since September 2023. Prior to this role, Cameron worked as a Platform Curator and Program Manager at Visura, where responsibilities included curating photography and visual content for the company’s Marketplace and News blog, as well as designing stories aimed at community building. Cameron's earlier experience includes a position as a Research Assistant and Multimedia Producer at the FAU Center for Environmental Studies, focusing on educational content related to Everglades restoration, and founding the documentary podcast New Climate Narratives, which explores climate change through expert interviews. Cameron holds an A.B. in English Literature with a minor in Studio Art from Kenyon College and has undertaken courses in English Literature and related fields at the University of Exeter, alongside completing education at the International Center of Photography School.
