Carroll Dunham is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in anthropology, media production, and environmental education. As Co-Founder of Around the World in 80 Fabrics since April 2020, Carroll Dunham leads efforts to foster connections between plastic-free fabrics and planetary health. In a longstanding role as expedition leader with National Geographic since November 2007, Carroll explores diverse wilderness areas while engaging in cultural and ecological education. Carroll also founded Wild Earth in January 1995, focusing on translating indigenous herbal healing knowledge into beneficial products. As Co-Director of Wild Earth Productions since January 1991, Carroll creates meaningful television content centered on Asian subjects. Additionally, work as a medical anthropologist and cultural guide with Upaya Zen Center Nomad Clinics involved collaboration between Western medical practitioners and Himalayan healthcare traditions. Educationally, Carroll Dunham holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Princeton University, completed in 1985.
