Jorge Pacheco Jr.

2021 Grosvenor Teacher Fellow at National Geographic

Jorge Pacheco Jr. serves as the Director of Programs & Partnerships for Latinos for Education in the Bay Area and as a Governing Board Member/Trustee for the Santa Clara County Board of Education and the Oak Grove School District Board of Education. Pacheco is the Co-CEO/President of the California Latino School Boards Association, where leadership includes organizing statewide webinars on equity in education. Recognized as a 2021 Grosvenor Teacher Fellow, Pacheco has extensive experience as an educator, having taught various grade levels and subjects while advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in multiple educational settings. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master’s Degree in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University.
