Qingwei Sun

Qingwei Sun is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental conservation and policy. Currently serving as Chief Representative, Director for China, and Director of the Air and Water Conservation Fund at National Geographic since December 2014, Qingwei has a strong background in leading initiatives related to environmental issues. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Secretary General at the China New Energy Chamber of Commerce and as a Campaigner for Greenpeace. Additionally, Qingwei held the position of Associate Research Professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences from May 2003 until December 2010. Qingwei earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical Geography from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences between 1998 and 2003.
