Dr Robin M. Y.

Chief, Partner Engagement Program Division at National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency

Dr. Robin M. Y. has extensive work experience, starting in 1977 when they served in the Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant until 2001. Following this, they worked as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton in 2001, and later became a Training Associate at Cubic from 2002 to 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Senior Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton. In 2014, they joined DoD, NGA as a Team Lead and later served as the Chief, HD Strategies Office, Workforce Planning Division at DoD in 2015. In 2016, they became the Chief of the Partner Engagement Program Division at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. From 2017 to February 2020, they worked as the Deputy Chief of Staff at OPM, National Background Investigations Bureau. Currently, since February 2020, Dr. Robin M. Y. holds the position of Chief of Staff at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Background Investigations Directorate.

Dr. Robin M. Y. received a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Human and Organizational Learning from The George Washington University in 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management from Colorado Christian University in 1997 and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 1989. Dr Robin M. also holds a High School Diploma in Nursing from Burdick Vocational High School, which they obtained in 1976. Additionally, they completed an Associate's degree in Communications and Training Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
