Matthew MacDonald is an experienced Senior SAR Imagery Scientist at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency since June 2020, specializing in advanced geospatial capabilities and architectures through various roles in NGA's Enterprise Engineering and Directorate divisions. With a solid background in geospatial intelligence, Matthew has contributed to the transformation of legacy systems, integration of commercial technologies, and the application of advanced photogrammetric techniques across multiple NGA projects. Previous positions include Senior Geospatial Intelligence Analyst at the United States Department of Defense and various analytical roles within NGA, where expertise in multisensor imagery and geospatial data management was developed. Matthew holds a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science and has been accepted into a Ph.D. program for Earth Sciences and Geoinformation Sciences.
