Amy Anderson

Amy Anderson is a Senior EV and Storage Analyst at National Grid ESO since September 2024, following a role as an Energy Systems Engineer at Altelium, where responsibilities included designing AI-driven solutions for energy storage systems. Prior to this, Amy served as a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Strathclyde, focusing on network asset uncertainty in distribution networks while completing a PhD in Future Power Networks and Smart Grids. Amy's earlier experience encompasses work as an Electronics Engineer at Clyde Space Ltd, where lithium-ion battery systems for small satellites were developed, and as an Electronics Engineer at Thales, contributing to VHDL design for avionics and engaging in STEM outreach. Educational credentials include a BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Glasgow and a PgDip in Engineering from The Open University.
