Amber Rangel Mooney

Amber Rangel Mooney serves as the Director of NY Workforce Development at National Grid since July 2024. Prior to this role, Amber held the position of Vice President and Director of Workforce Development at Empire State Development from August 2022 to July 2024. Amber's experience includes a tenure as Director of Workforce Development and Manager of Government Affairs at The Business Council of New York State, Inc. from April 2017 to July 2022. Additionally, Amber contributed as a Board Member at Tech Valley Center of Gravity from May 2017 to June 2019 and served as a Council Member on the New York State Procurement Council from May 2017 to January 2019. Amber holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Clarkson University Graduate School and two Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from the University at Albany.
