Andre Turenne

Andre Turenne is an experienced investment professional currently serving as Vice President of Investments at National Grid Partners since 2018. In this role, Turenne oversees the venture investment and innovation initiatives of National Grid plc, a leading investor-owned energy company. Prior to this, Turenne held the position of Director of Investments at STANLEY + Techstars Accelerator, where focus was on electrification innovations, and served as a mentor in the program. Earlier experience includes a decade as Partner at D. E. Shaw Ventures and Managing Director at NeoCarta Ventures, concentrating on early to mid-stage IT investments. Turenne began a career in corporate venture capital as Senior Manager at Intel Capital. Educational credentials include an MBA from Northeastern University and a BS in Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
