Matthew Place

Matthew Place has extensive experience in project management and operations within both governmental and military sectors. Currently serving as Operations Supervisor for Distribution Lines at National Grid since August 2017, Matthew previously held significant roles at the Governor's Office of Storm Recovery, including Deputy Chief Project Delivery Officer and Program Manager from August 2014 to August 2017. Prior to that, Matthew was a Senior Case Manager at New York Rising and has a background with FEMA as an Intern/Program Specialist. Matthew's career began in the United States Marine Corps, where a rank of Sergeant was held from July 2006 to September 2012. Matthew holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from John Jay College (CUNY) and a Bachelor’s Degree from Worcester State University.
