Nicholas Silver is a seasoned professional in the field of cyber security and operational technology, currently serving as Lead Security Architect at National Grid since February 2021. Prior to this role, Nicholas held positions as an Industrial Cyber Security Specialist at Airbus and as an Industrial Cyber Security Consultant at Honeywell. Nicholas began the career in technical roles at companies such as Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Honeywell Process Solutions, and Cabot Corporation, where expertise in advanced process control, plant IT management, and technical support was developed. Nicholas's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Swansea University, obtained from 1989 to 1992.
