Nick Rancis possesses extensive experience in the fields of innovation, commercialization, and entrepreneurship, particularly within the energy and technology sectors. Currently serving in transformative innovation at National Grid Partners, Nick is involved in advancing energy systems through investments in startups and fostering an entrepreneurial culture. Additionally, Nick holds a position on the Board of Directors at Fraunhofer USA, focusing on applied research. Previous roles include Director of Commercial Operations at Ginkgo Bioworks and Director of TechBridge at Fraunhofer USA, where Nick drove initiatives in energy and biotechnology. A co-founder of Clear Comfort Water, Nick’s earlier experience includes strategic consultancy roles, board memberships, and academic instruction in business and technology. Nick holds an MBA in Finance from Babson College and a degree in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from Colorado State University.
