Rachel Lynall is a highly experienced sustainability professional with a strong background in environmental management and strategy. Currently serving as the Sustainability Strategy Manager at National Grid since August 2018, Rachel focuses on achieving Net Zero construction targets and oversees health, safety, and environmental disciplines as the SHEQ Manager for the London Power Tunnels 2 project. Previous roles include Environmental Specialist at National Grid and Environment Advisor at the UK Atomic Energy Authority, where Rachel contributed to sustainable nuclear energy research. Rachel's early career included consultancy and student placements, enhancing skills in research, communication, and environmental assessments. Rachel holds a Master of Environmental Science from the University of Southampton and A-levels in Biology, Geography, and Chemistry.
