Nancy Stoddard

Nancy Stoddard has a strong background in the insurance industry, with diverse roles and extensive experience. Beginning their career as an Actuarial Student at Guarantee Mutual in 1982, they later joined Allstate Life Insurance Company as an Actuary. In 1992, Nancy moved to Physicians Mutual Insurance Company, where they held various positions, including Assistant Vice President and Actuary, Vice President and Chief Actuary, and eventually Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary. During their tenure at Physicians Mutual, they also served as Senior Vice President of the Customer Group. In 2013, Nancy transitioned to Combined Insurance United States as a VP and Actuary, before being promoted to Senior Vice President of Market Initiatives. Since 2018, they have been with National Guardian Life Insurance Company, initially as Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary, and currently as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Throughout their career, Nancy has demonstrated expertise in product development, pricing, market analysis, and strategic planning.

Nancy Stoddard obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they studied from 1978 to 1982. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Fairbury High School from 1975 to 1978. In addition to their formal education, Nancy Stoddard has also obtained certifications, including being a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries from the institution SOA, obtained in 1989, and being a Member of the Academy of Actuaries from the institution AAA, obtained in 1992.
