Dr. Deborah Bergeron

Deputy Director | Community Engagement Innovation at National Head Start Association

Dr. Deborah Bergeron currently serves as the Deputy Director of Engagement and Innovation at the National Head Start Association since January 2021. Prior to this, Dr. Bergeron was the Director at the Office of Head Start from April 2018 to January 2021, where a political appointment involved supporting the Office and its 1,600 grantees serving nearly 1,000,000 vulnerable children under six nationwide. Dr. Bergeron also held the position of Principal at Manassas Park High School from June 2014 to January 2021. Dr. Bergeron earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from George Mason University and holds two Bachelor of Education degrees from Texas State University.
