Tavis Hamer is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in application architecture, business engagement, and technical support management. Currently serving as a Senior Application Architect at the National Health and Medical Research Council since June 2017, Tavis previously held several roles within the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection, including Business Engagement Manager for Data Warehouse and Reporting Services and Test Manager. Tavis also contributed to the Grains Research and Development Corporation as IT Facilities Manager, where significant cost savings and project management improvements were achieved. With an academic background that includes a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physics and an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Tavis has demonstrated expertise in technical leadership and training across various organizations, including Software AG and McDonald's.
