Joanna S. R.

Joanna S. R. is an experienced Program Analyst at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) since March 2020, serving as the Model Minimum Uniform Crash Criteria (MMUCC) Committee Chair and point of contact for NHTSA. Previously, Joanna held roles such as Regional Program Manager at NHTSA, where assistance was provided to states in developing traffic records and highway safety data programs, and Assistant Project Manager and Instructor at the National Institute for Safety Research, Inc., focused on federal contract program oversight and training initiatives. Earlier positions include Research Analyst III for the State of Alaska's Highway Safety Office, where federal FARS program administration was conducted, and Statistical Assistant at the U.S. Department of Justice's Bureau of Justice Statistics. Joanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Arts in Technical Theatre from Frostburg State University.
