Julie Vallese

Julie Vallese currently serves as the Associate Administrator for Communications and Consumer Information at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), overseeing the dissemination of vehicle and traffic safety information. With a rich background in strategic communications, Vallese has held high-level positions at Deloitte as Managing Director, focusing on corporate citizenship communications, and as Principal at Vallese Consulting, where expertise was provided in public affairs and brand management. Prior roles include Vice President of Strategic Communication and Public Affairs at Dorel Juvenile, Managing Director at Burson-Marsteller, Director of Public Affairs and Communications at the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and a Broadcast News Expert at CNN. Vallese holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from The George Washington University.
